Google announces more powerful search features for retailers!


Google on Tuesday announced the full launch of Google Cloud Retail Search, a new managed service that will provide retailers with their own version of the Google search engine, customized for their digital properties.


It is learned that there is a new recommendation artificial intelligence system in Google Cloud Retail Search, which can provide personalized product recommendations at scale across channels. The system combines customer behavior, context, and SKU to drive cross-channel engagement through relevant recommendations.


In addition, Google Cloud Retail Search also offers Vision Product Search, which uses ML-powered to identify and find products, and provides search results for similar or complementary products. Google said this can help shoppers search for products with images on mobile devices, expanding the potential impact of retailers.


Google said the move to launch Google Cloud Retail Search is intended to address the problem of "search abandonment," which occurs when a buyer gives up while still searching for a product, meaning they can't find the product they're looking for. Google Cloud Retail Search will help retailers identify products and reduce consumer "search abandonment."


It is learned that the Google Cloud Retail Search launched by Google can be customized according to the specific needs of the enterprise. Google has now cooperated with companies such as IKEA, Cartier and Macy's.
