Etsy is hiring in Mexico to further expand its business

It is learned that Etsy is preparing to expand its business in Mexico and will launch large-scale recruitment in Mexico.

Etsy reportedly has more than 90 million items, custom-made or handmade by more than 4 million sellers. The majority of sellers on the platform are women and small and medium-sized businesses, making Etsy one of the world's best platforms for reaching women entrepreneurs.

Etsy currently has 1,500 employees in Mexico, and all new employees will work remotely. Etsy will continue to expand its scale in the future.

Etsy is looking to Mexico for two reasons: first, given the level of talent available in the country, and plans to reach agreements with local universities in the future; second, because Mexico is close to Etsy's headquarters.

“Mexico is the ideal market for Etsy to plant new roots and expand its global workforce,” said Rachana Kumar, CEO of Etsy Mexico.
