How to find out why Amazon sales plummeted

1. Check if the linked category has been modified. This category modification is not necessarily done by the seller himself. More often, Amazon automatically grabs a different category. If the category is modified, Amazon's algorithm will re-match the product's keywords, associate customers and traffic. In particular, if the modified category node is not related to the product, the traffic will drop significantly.

 

2. The product's advertising traffic has changed. If the product is still in the new product stage, the product's traffic is more dependent on advertising. If the position of the advertisement changes, for example, most of the traffic was on the homepage of the search results before, but now it has all gone to the product details page. In this case, the quality of the traffic will drop sharply, resulting in a drop in conversion rate and fewer orders.

 

3. Competitors continue to take away product traffic. When many sellers look for the reason, they find that the traffic has not decreased, the position has not changed, but the conversion rate has dropped sharply. However, the link display page has not been optimized recently. Then we need to take a good look at whether competitors have occupied many display positions of our products, thereby taking away traffic.
