What are PopSockets? PopSockets Review

Popsockets is a brand of mobile phone airbag holders that have registered invention patents. PopSockets are small plastic devices that "pop up" onto the back of your phone. They consist of three parts: a decorative disc, a flexible accordion-like rod, and a round base that sticks to the phone.

About PopSockets

Popsockets has offices in Boulder, Colorado, and San Francisco, California.

Popsockets are characterized by the patterns on the round buttons, which include popular movies, animation, and DIY sections. Recently, they have also launched a Swarovski-cooperated version of the buttons. In fact, there are many mobile phone holders with similar functions on Taobao, but the uniqueness of PopSockets lies in the texture brought by the uniformity of the brand. Although the category is single, it has a wide range of applications and a high repurchase rate.

37.81% of PopSockets' traffic comes from YouTube, 30.12% from Facebook, 18.58% from Instagram, 8.49% from Twitter, and 2.91% from Reddit. 42.69% of visits come from organic search. This shows that this brand is a master of social marketing. In addition, there is a fan group for this brand in Taiwan, China, and the fans nickname it "Poppao Sao".

4. Prevent your phone from getting wet;

5. Multi-threaded work.

feature

1. With 3 gears to switch and 360° twist, you can pull out the airbag and operate the phone safely with one hand, whether it is sending text messages, taking selfies or watching videos horizontally.

2. PopSockets is also a stress-relieving device. It has been tested for 12,000 compressions, so you can safely press it repeatedly to relieve your stress.

3. The adhesive backing adopts US patented nano gel technology, which can be pasted repeatedly without leaving any marks. You can stick it wherever you want. If you stick it wrong, you can tear it off. The stickiness remains unchanged after washing.

China Market

In 2018, PopSockets entered the Chinese market.

At its first domestic launch event, PopSockets creatively created the POP MUSEUM, combining the hottest elements of China's social platforms to create a new way to play with mobile phones.

After entering the Chinese market, Paopao cooperated with the famous actor Chen Bolin to launch the "Chill Chinatown" series; and launched a series of joint models with the new song to be released by the idol CNK boy group under Super Records. At the same time, part of the proceeds will be invested in charity to spread the positive energy of idols. It also launched a joint series with the food V "Rishiji" and the independent designer fashion brand Lost General, and customized for internationally renowned companies such as Pepsi, Changhong, and jewelry brand Liuguifu.

Public Welfare

PopSockets donates 10% of its net profits to various charities each year.

In China, PopSockets has launched a charity model in cooperation with Shanghai's famous stray animal welfare charity organization "TA Shanghai" and Asia's most charming dog "Dog and Deer". At the same time, it also cooperated with the Asian Animal Fund to launch the "Caring for Moon Bear Day" charity project and jointly launched a charity model PopSockets. Part of the proceeds from these sales will be used for animal rescue operations.

Development History

-PopSockets was originally just an inspiration that suddenly came to founder David B when he was listening to music to solve the problem of tangled headphone wires.

-After continuous trials and improvements, in 2012, PopSockets was gradually upgraded from a simple base to a multi-purpose mobile phone holder, which can not only store headphone cables, but also let you regain the pleasure of operating the phone with one hand.

-Barnett started the business out of his garage in Boulder, Colorado in 2014 and has since sold more than 40 million PopSockets controllers worldwide.

- As of 2017, more than 35 million PopSockets have been sold. Received the "Driving Technological Innovation" award from Wired magazine.
