What are Amazon virtual bundles? Amazon virtual bundles review
Amazon virtual bundles, Amazon has opened virtual bundles to all brand sellers on the US site. Sellers can bundle products for sale, use old products to bring new products, use hot-selling products to bring slow-selling products, increase sales and better meet the various needs of consumers. Applicable site United States English Virtual bundles function Promote sales

Function Introduction

Through the virtual bundling tool, brand sellers can bundle 2-5 different ASINs (make sure each component ASIN can be purchased separately), so that consumers can buy these products together on a single product detail page, which plays a role in attracting traffic between products. Bundling products allows consumers to buy well-matched products, making it easier to discover and buy more products from the seller's store, improving the shopping experience.

NOTE: These items are not packaged together, just sold together.

Display Location

After a product is bundled with other products through the virtual bundling tool, consumers who want to purchase other products can directly see the bundled combination below the five-point description on the product page, without having to search for similar products in different stores.

Conditions of Use

▼ASIN must be a brand owned by the seller and the brand must have completed Amazon brand registration.

▼The ASIN must have active Amazon Fulfillment Inventory in “New” condition.

▼ The following items may not be included in virtual bundles: gift cards, electronically delivered items (such as digital music, videos, and books), and refurbished/used ASINs.

▼Currently this feature is only available on Amazon US.

Creation steps

Step 1: Enter the Amazon Seller Platform, pull down the "Brand" menu, select "Virtual Bundle Product" to enter the settings.

Step 2: After entering the page, add the products to be bundled (at least two items), and enter product information such as product image, name, price, description, selling point introduction and SKU.

Bundling Principle

1. Track browsing history to understand buyers’ interests

Sellers can analyze consumers’ browsing history through Amazon Brand Analytics and purchased product reports to understand which ASIN consumers viewed and then looked at the current ASIN, track product traffic sources, try to bundle products with relevant traffic, and test potential market opportunities for bundled sales.

2. Study the buyer’s purchase history and bundle sales scientifically

Sellers can regularly study their order reports. Through the consumer information in the order reports, sellers can see whether different consumers have commonalities in their purchases, for example, whether they buy product B at the same time as product A, and conduct bundling sales tests.

3. Analyze product selection and implement flexible operation strategies

Before listing products, sellers usually do product selection analysis. Through analysis, they may find that certain products, sizes, and colors may have the possibility of being sold together. In this case, sellers can use this tool to conduct daily operations in a more flexible way. For example, in the case of game consoles, sellers can usually use a combination of a console and a controller to boost sales, but on Valentine's Day, they can use a combination of a console and two controllers to target couples, so this is a good trial and error tool.

Advantages Summary

1. Retain the traffic of popular products and help attract traffic to other products in the store

The bundled product combination will occupy a prominent position on the main product's detail page. After consumers have read the product pictures and descriptions, they can immediately see the bundled products, which will stimulate purchases! For products that do not use the virtual bundling tool, in the same position (i.e., the "Frequently bought together" section), it is possible that their own products and other sellers' products will be recommended for purchase together.

2. No need to manually change inventory, bundling operation is convenient

Sellers can discount bundled products as a whole without having to package the products together, and there is no need to change the Amazon Logistics (FBA) inbound inventory. The available quantity of the bundled products will be automatically adjusted. For example, if a seller has a bracelet with a saleable quantity of 20 and a necklace with a saleable quantity of 30, there are 20 bundled products available for sale, and this quantity will be automatically adjusted.

3. Simple and flexible editing, quick combination sales

Bundled products can become independent SKUs. Sellers can edit the name, description, highlights, pictures and price of bundled products, except that they cannot change the products in the bundle.
