Two store creation models

1. Create your own free custom store, and all sales will be 100% owned by the store owner.

2. Help you sell through Tictail ’s marketplace, but Tictail will charge 10% of sales as commission.

In August 2015 , Tictail, a global e-commerce platform founded in Stockholm, Sweden, announced the completion of a $ 22 million Series B financing round . The investors in this round included Stockholm venture capital firm Creandum , New York Thrive Capital , London Balderton Capital and Munich Action Capital, all of which were early investors in the company.

In 2014, the platform had 85,000 independent brands from more than 140 countries and 2 million products .

In 2018 , Tictail was acquired by Shopify .
