Acquisitions

In May 2016, India’s “58 Home Delivery” Quikr Service acquired home beauty service Salosa.

In September 2016, Quikr launched the talent discovery platform Dazzlr App to connect outstanding talents from around the world.

On November 22, 2016, Indian classified portal Quikr announced that it would acquire local house rental solution provider GrabHouse and also released a cashless escrow rental solution.

In May 2017, Indian online portal Quikr acquired home services company Zimmber in an all-stock deal.

In June 2017, Indian online classified information website Quikr acquired blue-collar job search website Babajob Services Pvt. Ltd. Most of the transaction was completed in the form of equity transactions. Quikr hopes to use this to strengthen its competitiveness in the blue-collar job search field.

Financing

In May 2012, Quikr raised $32 million.

In March 2014, Quikr received a new round of investment of US$90 million, led by Kinnevik, followed by Matrix Partners, Omidyar Network, Nokia Growth Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Warburg Pincus.

On April 8, 2015, Tiger Global Management invested US$150 million in Quikr.
