On July 8, 2008, Gannett purchased Tribune's 42.5% stake for $22.3 million and McClatchy's 15% stake for $7.9 million, making ShopLocal 100% owned by Gannett. Shoplocal is now part of TEGNA Digital and merged with PointRoll to create Cofactor Digital. In December 2016, Chicago-based digital media/ad tech agency Liquidus acquired CoFactor. |
