TweetDeck is a free Twitter management tool that is very convenient to use. It allows users to monitor all the indicators of their Twitter accounts in one interface. TweetDeck also provides each user with enough freedom to customize the display interface, from your home screen to search criteria, you can perform personalized operations, such as showing or hiding various data columns.

On March 16, 2009, a pre-release version was released which included Facebook status update integration.

As of April 8, 2009, Facebook status updates are part of standard procedure.

Version 0.32, released on November 30, 2009, added LinkedIn integration and new Twitter features.

In May 2010, TweetDeck also added integration with the Google Buzz and Foursquare social networks.

On May 25, 2011, Twitter acquired TweetDeck.

In 2012, TweetDeck reverted to supporting only Twitter and Facebook, ending support for LinkedIn, MySpace, and the now-defunct Google Buzz effective June 2012.

March 4, 2013 - TweetDeck announced in a blog post that they would be suspending the mobile versions of TweetDeck, including TweetDeck AIR, TweetDeck for iPhone, and TweetDeck for Android, which were removed from their respective app stores in May.

In May 2013, TweetDeck removed support for Facebook accounts.

On July 25, 2013, the Android, iOS, and AIR versions of TweetDeck were shut down.

In April 2016, Twitter shut down its Windows client TweetDeck.
