Apology Announcement Dear sellers:
Yesterday, the article "Breaking News! Japan will impose 50%-60% tariffs on Amazon FBA goods!" was published. In the article, the editor misinterpreted the unconfirmed news, causing unnecessary panic among sellers. After realizing his mistake, the editor immediately deleted the article.
After investigation, it was found that the notice in the original article could not represent the official policy and was biased. However, many sellers on the Japanese site said that they had received requests to re-declare the value of goods. Therefore, Japan does have a strict policy on under-declaration. We hope that sellers will comply with relevant policies and declare truthfully.
I have conducted a deep reflection on this incident. As a media worker in the cross-border industry, I should have the ability to identify the authenticity of the source of information. At the same time, I should also strengthen my learning and understanding of cross-border industry knowledge.
We will resolutely prevent similar incidents from happening again in the future. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this mistake has caused to the seller.
