Amazon sellers have been looking forward to the golden peak season, which has officially kicked off. The second half of the year is coming one after another, and the shopping spree is coming. Seize the opportunity of the peak season to make a lot of money. As the peak season approaches, Amazon has released several new announcements in succession. Sellers should be careful. If you are not careful, your existing listings may be deleted! On October 6, Amazon US site issued an announcement regarding pesticides and pesticide equipment listed. The original announcement is as follows: Beginning October 6, 2020, new pesticide and pesticide device listings will require a "Pesticide Marking attribute" to be filled out when creating a listing, and proof of an EPA registration number and EPA agency number, or proof that the product is not subject to EPA regulations. Sellers proactively providing the required EPA information to product detail pages will minimize disruption to sellers' product offerings. Additionally, if sellers have not previously received approval from Amazon to sell pesticides and pesticide control equipment, they must obtain approval by November 2, 2020, or their offers for these products may be rescinded. Recently, Amazon released a new brand registry registration process .
The announcement stated: If you are participating in Amazon’s Brand Registry program for the first time or registering a new brand, we have an updated registration process that involves two new requirements. If you are a brand owner, you will need to provide at least one image showing your brand name, logo, or other identifying mark on the product and/or packaging. You will also need to provide at least one ASIN for each product category in which the brand is sold. This will help the Brand Registry better identify the brand being registered. For brands that do not sell on Amazon, there is the option to self-report product categories without providing ASINs. Some sellers asked if this means that sellers only need to provide the above documents and can file without registering the trademark? However, this idea is just the seller's guess. Whether the procedure is simplified or not still needs to be clarified by the seller. Is this really the case? Industry professionals said that the so-called update process for registered brands is just that Amazon does not allow you to list brands that you have not registered or that you have not used before. However, you only need to provide packaging with the brand logo and pictures of the logo printed on the product, open a case to register the brand whitelist, and you can upload listings with this brand. As the peak season approaches, stocking up for goods has become one of the most important concerns for Amazon sellers. On the 28th, Amazon issued a new rule that affects the stocking up for goods of four categories of sellers, including sellers of clothing, watches, shoes and boots, and jewelry. It can be seen from this announcement that sellers of clothing, watches, shoes and jewelry need to fill in product information accurately as required, otherwise they will not be able to publish the products.
