Amazon Vine has a major positive! Multiple product nodes are strictly inspected

In the past two days, Amazon announced new changes to the Vine plan in the background, launched a half-price Vine registration event , and changed the upper limit of the number of registrations!

From the time of the announcement until April 15, 2023, sellers who register for the Amazon Vine program for any product in the background can enjoy a 50% discount on the registration fee, which means each product only costs US$100 after the discount.

There is no change in the registration fee collection rules for Vine. The fee is only charged when the seller receives the first Vine review. If the seller's product has not received any reviews, or the first Vine review is published more than 90 days after registration, no registration fee will be charged. Both the US and Japanese sites can enjoy half-price registration for Vine.

Another change in Vine is that the upper limit of actively registered products has been increased from 60 to 200. This allows sellers to register more products and participate in the Vine program to request reviews at the same time, which is very beneficial to big sellers who have a larger budget for review submission.

Generally speaking, the number of reviews on Vine is not stable, and because buyers of the Vine program usually have high requirements, if the product quality is not excellent, they are likely to leave bad reviews, which makes sellers not very enthusiastic about paying to participate in Vine. Many people would rather request reviews for each order than use Vine. However, in the past two years, Amazon has become more and more exaggerated in its crackdown on fake reviews. There are not many legal channels left for reviews, and Vine has become more and more important. If your product lacks reviews and you are confident in the quality of your product, you can take this opportunity to apply for Vine and invite some reviews, especially before and after a big sale, a high-authority Vine review will have a great impact.

In addition to some positive news about Vine, the operational method often used by sellers - "adding nodes" has encountered some troubles recently.

Amazon cracks down on illegal "adding nodes"

Originally, products on Amazon should have only one category node, and they would be placed in the category where they were uploaded. However, sellers have always liked to use gray technology to "add nodes" to increase product category search traffic, and can even dominate the BSR of unpopular categories by adding nodes.

However, Amazon has been conducting strict investigations and crackdowns on this type of outrageous operation recently, and even many innocent sellers have been affected, and the original normal category nodes have also been changed.

Therefore, everyone should be more restrained in adding nodes recently. Everyone should also pay attention to whether the nodes of normal products have been innocently changed by the system. Once the nodes are changed, the decline in traffic and order volume is very obvious. If they are innocently changed, remember to deal with it in time. There are currently two effective repair methods. One is to use the inventory tool to delete the listing, and then wait for the system to update after 24 hours, and use the normal batch form to upload and force the update . The second is to use the VC account to change it, but this has been strictly checked recently, so everyone should be cautious. Another way is to use the method of adding nodes to add normal nodes back , but this is a bit against the wind, and it is likely to be changed again. Don't try it unless it is absolutely necessary.
