Amazon launches new feature! Could it be a new traffic entry point?

Recently, Amazon officially launched a new feature - Customer Engagement, which is a new feature derived from the Transparency Program. Sellers can use this feature to guide repeat purchases, secondary marketing, and even expand traffic sources!

We have talked a lot about the Transparency Program before, so here is a brief introduction. Sellers participating in the program can purchase an exclusive, unique Transparency Program QR code. After receiving the product, the buyer can scan the QR code to verify whether the product is authentic. When entering the warehouse, Amazon will also scan the QR code on the product to verify its authenticity. Therefore, products participating in the Transparency Program are also difficult to be copied (exclusive codes need to be uploaded).

The new feature Customer Engagement is based on this QR code. The new feature allows sellers to customize a page for display after customers scan the code. It not only proves the authenticity of the product to customers, but also allows sellers to add product usage videos, detailed introductions, pictures, and even push exclusive promotional coupons on this page!

Engagement Features

You can put detailed product graphic introductions and usage guide videos to help consumers get started with the product and understand the key points of product use or maintenance. You can also use coupons to further guide consumers to repurchase. This process of scanning the code to verify + reading the instructions is very natural. Unlike passive marketing such as frequent marketing emails, this is because consumers want to verify the authenticity and actively want to scan the code to understand. Not only is it a great improvement in the after-sales experience of consumers, but the effect of secondary marketing is definitely much better than sending advertising emails.

Not only that, at the end, buyers can also share the video or discount information on the page to social platforms such as Facebook and Twitter with one click! This is equivalent to giving sellers a new channel to display products and discount activities. If you can guide the sharing on this page, the effect can be even better!

Moreover, the transparency plan now also allows sellers to add some information on the QR code label. Sellers can simply write "Scan the code to receive coupons/see how to use" and so on on the label to guide customers to scan the code for secondary marketing.

The coupons on the new page can also be set for different products. You can use the best-selling old models to promote new models or products that have certain relevance, such as buying mobile phone cases, scanning codes to get film coupons, etc. The gameplay is very flexible.

Amazon may be the biggest winner of the epidemic

Now, any seller who has participated in the Transparency program and has an annual sales volume of 1,000 or more can apply to use it! The Transparency program requires the following three conditions:

1. The seller must be the owner of the product brand;

2. Brand Registration 2.0 has been completed

3. Make sure you can apply the Transparency Program QR code you purchased to each of your products.

Although the new Engagement feature is free, the original fee of the Transparency Plan will still be charged, and the fee is charged according to the number of QR codes purchased by the seller. There are three main tiers:

1. One-time purchase quantity < 1 million, $0.05 per piece;

2. 1 million pieces < one-time purchase quantity < 10 million pieces, 0.03 USD per piece;

3. One-time purchase quantity > 10 million, $0.01 per piece.

Amazon has now launched some Transparency Program promotions to attract sellers to use it. From April 12 to June 15 , whether you are a new seller or a seller already using the Transparancy Program, eligible ASINs can enjoy a half-price discount for up to 20,000 codes !
