Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription plan at any time?

A: Simply go to Account settings from within the app. The first tab is Plan. You will see your current subscription plan at the top. To change plans, select the plan you want to switch to from the drop-down list at the bottom of that page.

If you choose to upgrade, ZonGuru will charge the higher amount on a pro-rated basis to your credit card. For example, if you are subscribed to a $49/month plan and want to upgrade to $99/month, you will pay the difference monthly and it will automatically increase to $99/month in the next billing cycle. The same applies to annual subscription plans.

If you downgrade your subscription plan, the amount you pay for the current month and in the future will be reduced accordingly. For example, if you are originally subscribed to a $99 per month plan and want to downgrade to a $49 per month plan in the future, you will receive a discount for the rest of the month, but future payments will be reduced to $49 per month until the next billing week. The same applies to annual plans. For annual plans, it is wise to downgrade your subscription plan at the end of the billing cycle.

Q: I accidentally subscribed to an annual plan, can I get a refund and switch to monthly payment?

A: Sellers can get a full refund within 30 days of subscribing to any plan. If you keep any plan for more than 30 days, normal upgrade and downgrade rules apply.

Q: Is the ZonGuru mobile app available on both iOS and Android?

A: It is currently only available for iOS, but will be available for Android soon.

Q: What time period does the sales data measure?

A: All projected sales figures are calculated on a monthly basis.

Q: What is the difference between the Chrome extension and SaleSpy?

A: The intent of these two tools is the same, but they use different methods to reach their conclusions:

SaleSpy tracks the inventory levels of a specific listing and looks at the average daily sales for a specific time period. It is a great tool for sellers to gain in-depth insights into a specific product listing and truly measure how well a product is selling on Amazon.

The Chrome extension, on the other hand, extracts data showing all seller information on Amazon’s webpage and then estimates sales by incorporating key metrics (BSR, reviews, webpage traffic, etc.) into the algorithm.

All in all, both are extremely useful when researching new products.

Q: Why is there a difference in sales data between SaleSpy and the Chrome extension?

A: Because SaleSpy and the Chrome extension analyze product listings in different ways, they occasionally show different sales data. When this happens, ZonGuru recommends sellers to simply track these products and add a few competitors in the same category to get more data samples.

Seller Reviews

Ben Hudson, an Amazon seller, said: “I started using ZonGuru when I was still a newbie and used SaleSpy to do product research and familiarize myself with the e-commerce industry. After a few weeks of carefully tracking products, I finally found a niche category that I was ready to invest in. After a few months, I was happy to see that my Amazon business was running and profitable. Tools like Email Automator and Review Monitor allowed me to respond quickly to buyers.”
