Sellers must read! New adjustments to Amazon discount coupons

Sellers, please note! Amazon’s discount coupon policy has been adjusted again!
Recently, Amazon announced that it would adjust its order discount coupon policy, allowing customers to use percentage discount coupons for up to five items in a single order.

Previously, customers could only use one coupon per order and often made multiple purchases to save on each item. This change will help customers enjoy discounts on more items in one order, without having to place separate orders to achieve discounts on multiple items.

The key points of policy adjustments are as follows

1

The scope of use of discount coupons has been expanded.

When creating a discount coupon in Seller Central,

(1) If you select “No limit on the number of redemptions per customer” , the discount coupon can be used to purchase a maximum of five items per order.
(2) If you select
"Limit " , only one discount coupon can be used per order.

2

Specific application examples

Assume that a customer gets a 10% discount coupon with a discount price of $50. Each item in the 10% discount coupon is discounted by $5. Then:
(1) If he buys only three items in an order, he will be able to enjoy a discount of $5 on each of the three items , so the total discount on the final purchase will be $15.

(2) If a customer buys 8 items in one order, he can only enjoy a 10% discount on a maximum of five items , so the total discount on the final purchase is $25. The remaining three items will not be eligible for this discount!

3
Limitations of fixed amount discount coupons

This adjustment does not apply to discount coupons (discount vouchers) with a fixed amount. Even if you choose "No limit on the number of redemptions for each customer", discount coupons (discount vouchers) with a fixed amount will still be limited to one per order.

Customers can use the coupon money multiple times only when making separate purchases.

It is not difficult to find that Amazon is always optimizing the user experience and continuously updating the details of Amazon. After this policy adjustment, customers can use discount coupons more flexibly, which not only improves the shopping experience, but also helps to increase customer loyalty and repurchase rate.

At the same time, for sellers, this adjustment can reduce the number of orders that need to be processed, and operating costs will be greatly reduced. The reduction in the number of orders will enable sellers to plan logistics more effectively, reduce delivery costs, and improve delivery efficiency.
