More than 12,000 toy sets were urgently recalled by CPSC! Available on Amazon

It is learned that on September 12, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of Intellio Toys ' Bright Builder Fort Kits toy sets due to the risk of battery ingestion, which violates federal regulations.

It is understood that the recalled products are toy fortress building sets, model FKL-BG, FKL-BR, L-5BG and L-5BR. The set is divided into green and blue and red and blue colors, including 45 long sticks, 25 short sticks, 15 connecting tubes, 25 connecting balls and 5 flashlights with button batteries. "Bright Builder" is printed on the front of the set box, "Intellio Toys" is printed on the side panel, and the model is located in the lower right corner of the back of the box.

The recalled products only include sets with flashlights, which are sold as part of the set and also sold separately as add-ons. Between December 2022 and August 2024, about 12,400 sets were sold on Amazon and Intelliotoys' official website, priced between $38 and $49, and the flashlights were priced between $14 and $15. Currently, Intellio Toys has received a report that the battery fell out of the flashlight while operating it, and no injuries have been reported.

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the flashlight in the set, keep it away from children, and contact Intellio Toys for a refund of $10 to $15 (depending on the model). Consumers may continue to use the set without the flashlight and dispose of or recycle the button battery in your local hazardous household waste disposal program. Amazon and Intellio Toys are directly contacting all known purchasers.
