It is learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of Atomi's smart heaters because they may start automatically and pose a risk of fire and burns. It is understood that the recalled products involve seven models of Atomi smart heaters, which are marked on the product identification sticker at the bottom of the device. The tower models are AT1323, AT1481, AT1520 and AT1632, the desktop models are AT1482 and AT1521, and the wall-mounted model is AT1635. The tower model is about 26-28 inches high and 8-11 inches wide; the desktop model is about 18 inches high and 8 inches wide; the wall-mounted model is about 17 inches high and 23 inches wide. Depending on the model, the product is divided into black, silver and white. So far, Atomi has received one report of the heater activating without user input, but no injuries have been reported. The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heaters and cut the unplugged device power cord, upload photos of the cut cord and the manufacturer's label on the bottom of the device, and contact Atomi for a full refund.
