Violating federal ban! This children's product was recalled by CPSC due to excessive lead

It is learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the recall of Dixon Ticonderoga's Creativity Street foam pattern roller because it violated the federal lead content ban.

It is understood that the recall involves the Creativity Street foam pattern roller model PAC5170, which is used by children for painting. The product contains four patterns and yellow, green, blue and red handles. The recall batch numbers "02142080423" and "02142230523" are printed on the back of the package. The CPSC stated that the product contains excessive lead and will have adverse effects on children's health.

Between September 2023 and January 2024, approximately 2,880 units of the product were sold on online shopping malls such as Amazon and Walmart and in offline stores, priced at approximately $15. At present, no relevant consumer accident/injury reports have been received .

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled foam rollers and keep them away from children. At the same time, consumers need to contact Dixon Ticonderoga to return the product and receive a full refund.
