Due to the great interest in famous entrepreneurs, Investingoal has studied the most sought-after CEOs in the world. Investingoal prepared a report using data provided by Google Keyword Planner. The study measured the average monthly search volume for startup-related terms and the most recognized company categories in the world over the past 12 months. The analysis was conducted after preparing a list of more than 300 of the world's most prominent CEOs combined with five common search terms related to startups and companies.

Based on Google Keyword Planner data, the CEOs that are most popular with the global public are as follows:

Elon Musk, SpaceX founder and Tesla CEO

There's no doubt that Elon Musk has been saying a lot in recent months. For that reason, the South African businessman who owns Twitter, Tesla, and Space X is the one who most people are interested in.

Last year, Musk averaged over 10 million searches per month (10,754,200), more than 8 million more than the next entrepreneur.

Musk's $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in 2022, in addition to his regular promotion of cryptocurrencies such as memecoins, has made him the most searched name in countries including the United States and the United Kingdom.

In the field where his company is most focused, namely technology, Musk is also the CEO in this field, ranking first.

• Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft

The second businessman of the world's greatest interest is American business tycoon Bill Gates.

The Microsoft co-founder was the only CEO to average more than 2 million searches per month over the past 12 months . That’s a total of 2,079,675,000 searches on Google.

• Amazon founder Jeff Bezos

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ranked third with 1,998,241 searches. However, despite an average of nearly 2 million searches per month, Bezos attracted more interest than Bill Gates in the United States and the United Kingdom.

• Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg

American tycoon Mark Zuckerberg, best known as the founder of Facebook, ranked fourth with nearly 1.7 million average monthly searches last year. More than 347,000 of those searches came from the United States.

• Bernard Arnault, founder of LVMH Group

Bernard Arnault ranks fifth with an average of more than 1.2 million searches per month (1,287,511.7). The businessman has cemented his position as the most sought-after CEO in the fashion industry.

• Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett

The sixth and final industry tycoon with more than 1 million searches (1,190,466) is also ranked . In addition , he has become the most searched businessman in the global financial and investment fields every month.

Other popular searches: CEO

James Gunn ranked highest among businessmen associated with the television industry. The filmmaker and co-CEO of DC Studios averaged more than 782,000 searches per month over the past year, with more than 245,000 of those searches coming from the United States.

Sundar Pichai, best known for his role as CEO of Alphabet Inc. and its Google subsidiary, has an average of more than 730,000 searches per month.

Fashion designer Giorgio Armani ranked ninth with an average of more than 637,000 searches per month. George Soros ranked tenth and was the last businessman to be searched for more than 500,000 times.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Spotify CEO Daniel Ek, Google co-founder Larry Page, business tycoon Jack Ma and Kering CEO Francois-Henri Pinault rounded out the top 15.
