Hurricane Nicole is about to hit Florida, beware of product delivery delays!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, after Hurricane Ian, a new round of Hurricane Nicole will land in Florida this week. This is undoubtedly bad news for sellers.

On November 8, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) announced that Storm Nicole, which was approaching from the Bahamas, was likely to reach Florida and become a major hurricane on November 9. The storm would last from Wednesday, November 9 to Friday, November 11, causing great damage to Florida.

Out of an "abundance of caution," Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency for 34 counties and urged all Floridians to be prepared and listen to local emergency management officials.

According to reports, many schools in counties across Florida have notified parents that due to the arrival of the hurricane, transportation and power supply are likely to be disrupted, and classes will be suspended on Thursday and Friday.

This means that many express and postal services in the United States will be interrupted in the second half of this week. Online sellers are likely to face significant losses due to delays in the delivery of goods.

Amazon has taken the initial steps to create a banner on its website for customers in Florida that reads, "Delivery times are likely to be delayed due to weather conditions." In addition, "next-day delivery" items in the state are now displayed as "delivered on Sunday."

It is understood that the United States Postal Service and eBay have not yet issued an official notice. However, it is expected that starting from November 9, various express delivery companies will successively issue suspension statements, and various e-commerce platforms will also release seller protection measures.
