Walmart launches its first seller tool! Big data tells you what sells best

It is learned that on May 13, Ralph Harris, founder and CEO of Wallysmarter.com, announced the launch of the world's first Walmart seller tool. Until now, third-party sellers have been forced to use Amazon seller tools, which cannot provide effective data for the Walmart.com market.

The number of third-party sellers on Walmart’s platform has been growing dramatically in recent years. The main reason is that Walmart’s market is much less competitive and more profitable than Amazon’s.

In 2021, there were 6.3 million third-party sellers on Amazon.com and 114,700 on Walmart.com. This means that for every seller on Amazon.com, there are 48 customers, while for every seller on Walmart.com, there are 1,918 customers.

Walmart's delivery service, a direct competitor to Amazon's FBA, has also been growing exponentially. In the past two years alone, Walmart has spent more than $50 billion on its logistics infrastructure to prepare for the increase in third-party sellers.

As more sellers move to Walmart.com, it becomes even more important that sellers have access to accurate and easy-to-use Walmart seller tools.

With Wallysmarter’s powerful database of 12 million Walmart.com keywords and 75 million Walmart.com products, the new tool will help sellers conduct product research truly efficiently.

Walmart has also launched a Chrome extension that provides a real-time view of Walmart.com results pages and provides accurate sales estimates. Wallysmarter.com even offers sellers a Walmart API to bulk purchase data generated by Walmart’s seller tools.
