Export volume increased by 25.2%! "Made in Italy" is popular in the United States!

It is learned that according to the latest customs data released by the US Department of Commerce, from January to November 2021, the amount of goods exported from Italy to the United States increased by 25.2%, far higher than the EU average (+6.5%) and higher than the pre-epidemic level (6.1% increase from 2019).

Data shows that in the first 11 months of 2021, the main types of goods exported by Italy to the United States are:

• Fashion and accessories (+59.8%)
• Automotive semi-finished products and components (+46.0%)
• Furniture and construction (+34.0%)
• Machinery (+29.4%)
• Food and beverages (+21.4%)

Thomas Clark, senior partner of online market research firm Statista, said that "Made in Italy" is deeply loved by American consumers due to its strong after-sales service, excellent design, superb technology, guaranteed quality, suitable price and unique customization.

It is learned that "Made in Italy" has been seeking to export $60 billion worth of goods to the United States, but due to the impact of the epidemic, it has not yet made a breakthrough. Statista predicts that this goal may be successfully achieved soon, and "Made in Italy" will be sought after by more Americans in the future.
