It is learned that the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CDC) recently issued a warning that an aromatherapy spray previously sold by Walmart was related to a deadly infectious bacteria, and asked consumers to immediately stop using the product and return it to Walmart.
It is reported that in late October, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found rare and deadly bacteria in an aromatherapy room spray branded Better Homes and Gardens, which was previously sold nationwide through Walmart. Upon receiving the news, Walmart immediately recalled nearly 4,000 bottles of the spray.
The recall notice said the bacteria causes melioidosis, a rare and potentially fatal disease that has so far resulted in four confirmed cases of melioidosis and two deaths. Recently, the CDC issued a new health alert: urging consumers to stop using the product immediately, not to open the bottle, or throw the bottle away at will, and to carefully pack the product and return it to a Walmart store for a full refund.
