Amazon Mexico holds "Amazon Impulsa" conference to help small and medium-sized sellers develop their business!

Amazon Mexico recently held the "Amazon Impulsa" virtual conference to provide completely free training opportunities for potential sellers who want to start online businesses, as well as small and medium-sized sellers currently selling on Amazon Mexico. The event was held online, and more than 5,000 sellers have applied.

 

Renata Arvizu, head of Amazon's Mexican market, said that globally, small and medium-sized sellers account for 60% of Amazon's total sales.

 

At the Amazon Impulsa conference, Amazon will provide sellers with technical guidance in multiple dimensions, including e-commerce, inventory planning, price definition tools and strategies, advertising solutions, performance reporting, exports and international trade, to promote online sales of small and medium-sized sellers.

 

In addition, the event also invited major first-class business people to participate and give speeches, such as Jorge de Lara, General Manager of Mexico and Latin America of American Express and Vice President of GCS, Ana López Mestre, General Manager of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, Álvaro Villar, General Manager of WeWork México, and Miate Arnal, Director of Stripe Latam.

 

According to data from the Mexican Online Sales Association (AMVO), 34% of the country's small and medium-sized sellers have switched to e-commerce as the epidemic has accelerated the development of the e-commerce economy. From 2019 to date, Mexico's online sales have increased by at least 81%.
