Amazon Review Practice - Direct Review

1. What is Amazon Direct Review?

As we all know, Amazon has two evaluation systems: Review and Feedback. Review is an evaluation of the listing itself. Amazon users can make their own evaluation of a listing regardless of whether they purchase the product. Feedback is for specific orders. Buyers can only make evaluations of existing orders after the purchase has been made. Direct review is a type of review, which means that you can leave a review directly without purchasing the product, also called (non-Verified Purchase Review).


2. Applicable situations of direct review

1. Small size, not a large size that takes up too much money.

2. Due to the current limited operating funds and a certain basis for the number of orders, a small amount of direct reviews can be appropriately increased.

3. Try to increase the number of reviews before the peak season to improve the order conversion rate. It will be more effective if you do A+ or post a video before doing direct reviews.


3. Analysis of the pros and cons of direct reviews

1. Direct reviews only exist for a limited period of time, which may be 3 days or 1 month. They will be deleted immediately after the system makes a determination.

2. Listings with excessive direct reviews will be restricted from receiving reviews, including real VP reviews and direct reviews.

3. If the sales privileges of an account are removed due to direct reviews, 30% of them can appeal.

4. The cost of direct reviews is relatively low, 8-15 yuan per review, which can increase the star rating and conversion rate, especially reviews with pictures and longer texts are more convincing. It also needs to be approved by the system before it will be displayed, which usually takes 1-2 working days.


IV. Suggestions

1. If you are a novice seller and your order volume is limited, it is not recommended to post direct reviews. If you are an old friend, you can consider finding a healthier buyer account to post direct reviews after accumulating order volume. Be careful not to post too many direct reviews. Excessive use is not good. You should know when to stop.

2. Before posting direct reviews, it is best to optimize the product and make it an A+. The conversion rate of a video will be better.
