Amazon's investment in Arizona exceeds $16 billion, and its economic contribution exceeds $13 billion!

It is learned that according to Amazon's "U.S. Economic Impact Report", Amazon has invested more than 16 billion U.S. dollars in Arizona since 2010, of which the Phoenix area accounts for 91% of the investment, reaching 14.6 billion U.S. dollars.

The company has created more than 30,000 jobs in Arizona across operations, logistics, corporate and technology functions, according to the report, which also estimates that Amazon's investments in the region have contributed more than $13 billion to the local economy over the past decade.

To further promote its development in Arizona, Amazon is currently frantically recruiting new people to support the new sorting center in Glendale and two new delivery sites in North Phoenix and Souris. The starting salary for these positions is $15.50 per hour, and some positions can also enjoy the $1,000 signing bonus promised by Amazon not long ago.

In addition to investing in its physical operations and delivery network, cloud infrastructure, and retail locations, Amazon has also invested heavily in its human resources, paying its U.S. employees more than $160 billion in wages since 2010.

AMZ23 has learned that Amazon has been leading the fight for a $15-an-hour minimum wage, and employees can also enjoy industry-leading benefits, including health care, retirement savings, and job skills training programs.
