A Tip to Improve Amazon Product Ranking


In the competitive world of Amazon, sellers need to maximize sales from both internal and external channels. After the algorithm is constantly updated, there are reports that the weight of external traffic has become more significant in product rankings. For this reason, many sellers have begun to try to find a way to drive external traffic while improving the ranking of Amazon keywords.

When a buyer clicks from the destination page, they are redirected to Amazon’s search results page, which copies a keyword within the seller’s store and then searches for it.

Next, we will search for “coffee grinder.” We can see the keywords used for the search at the end of the link.

 

If a buyer makes a purchase through that link, Amazon’s algorithm will see it as a result of an organic search, thus improving your product’s ranking in future searches for that search term.

 

How to Create 2-Step URLs


First, go to your Amazon store: click on the specific product detail page, then click on the link for the store name. Find 'Sold by' or just click on your own store name (using JavaPresse Coffee Company as an example).

On this page, click the store link to jump to the product store page, and enter the keywords of your product in the search box. (All searches here are generated in your own store page)

After searching the store page for keywords, do this by adding the product ASIN at the end of the link. After the keyword, add ' & field-asin=[yourASIN]' to generate 2-Step URLs .
