What is Luxury Stores? Luxury Stores Review
Luxury Stores is a fashion luxury shopping app that cooperates with major luxury brands and designer brands through a franchise model. This model is more like an online version of a "store-in-store". Major luxury brands can use Amazon's platform to operate stores and independently control their own inventory and pricing. Nature Luxury Shopping App Launch Time September 2020

Basic Introduction

Amazon, the US e-commerce giant, has officially launched its luxury e-commerce platform, Luxury Stores, which will use "360-degree view" technology to provide personalized shopping services, display products to customers in all directions, and make luxury shopping more convenient.

Amazon has officially entered the luxury fashion market with the launch of Luxury Stores. Luxury Stores is currently only available to eligible US Prime members and provides new shopping services and experiences including emerging luxury fashion and beauty brands.

Business Model

The platform is open to eligible US Prime members by invitation only and is designed to better allow luxury brands to reach wealthy consumers. Prime members who have not yet received an email invitation can apply through Amazon's website.

The model of Luxury Stores may be similar to that of Farfetch, which is a membership invitation system and does not provide a PC version. Purchases can only be made through the Amazon mobile app.

Website Announcement

The Luxury Stores section update announcement is as follows: "Welcome to Amazon Luxury Stores. The world's top luxury brands are at your fingertips. In Luxury Stores, you can enjoy the latest series and exclusive products of various luxury brands, and Amazon's exclusive logistics for members will serve you wholeheartedly."

Product Introduction

Oscar de la Renta, which recently launched its 2020 Pre-Fall and Fall/Winter collections, including ready-to-wear, handbags, jewelry, accessories and a new fragrance, has already entered Amazon Luxury Stores, and more brands will be connected to the platform in the coming weeks and fashion seasons.

Media Reviews

CNN believes that the timing of the opening of the "Luxury Store" is quite "interesting"; as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to change people's lifestyles, consumers' demand for high-end fashion goods has decreased. Amazon's "Luxury Stores" will deal another heavy blow to physical stores in the United States.
