Basic Introduction

TinyPNG can compress PNG to within 1/3 while maintaining the alpha channel, and the loss of compression is basically indistinguishable to the naked eye. Unfortunately, it only supports uploading PNG images to the official website for compression and then downloading. However, TinyPNG provides developers API, which is also based on HTTP. The free version can compress 500 images per month. The paid version supports more than 3,500 images per month.
