Historical Development

Matt Warren started building Veeqo in February 2013 from his home in Swansea, South Wales.

In September 2014, Veeqo was launched in beta, integrating with Shopify, Amazon and Royal Mail, enabling e-commerce retailers to manage their inventory and orders across multiple channels from a single cloud-based platform.

In February 2015, the new eBay integration was completed.

In March 2016, it acquired the transportation company ParcelBright.

In August 2017, Veeqo launched a new application store, Veeqo Marketplace, to provide retailers and third-party developers with the opportunity to build new features and functionality on the Veeqo platform.

In October 2017, Veeqo Scanner was launched.

Financing

In February 2015, $670,000 was raised through crowdfunding and the first full-time Veeqo employees were hired.

In May 2015, Veeqo raised $1 million in seed funding from retail mogul and founder of UK retail chain New Look, Tom Singh.

In December 2016, £1.2 million was raised through crowdfunding.

In July 2017, Veeqo was awarded a £500,000 investment by the Welsh Government, promising to create a further 170 jobs over the next three years.
