It is learned that recently, the American supermarket chain Giant announced a partnership with top grocery delivery company Instacart to launch an ultra-fast delivery service, with orders able to be delivered in as little as 30 minutes.
The delivery service is provided through Instacart's Convenience Hub, a service designed to simplify the shopping experience for customers.
Giant will offer nearly 20,000 products, mainly focusing on convenience products such as prepared foods, snacks and beverages, as well as other household items such as paper products, detergents and baby products. Customers can place orders between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m., with a minimum delivery price of $10, and Giant will charge a delivery fee of $2.99.
It is reported that Giant first cooperated with Instacart in 2017. The retailer currently has more than 190 stores and more than 150 pickup points across the country, and 90% of its customers can use its online grocery ordering and delivery services. Not long ago, the company also launched a new direct sales e-commerce distribution center in Philadelphia to provide faster order delivery services.
