Etsy provides a variety of ways for users to communicate privately, including dedicated chat tools, groups, and public chat rooms.

Etsy has established Etsy Lab, a permanent offline communication venue for handicraft enthusiasts, and regularly organizes handicraft DIY activities. Every month, Etsy also rotates to hold Etsy Meet & Make events in various locations to attract handicraft enthusiasts to participate.

There is a special blog in a prominent position on the website, covering various contents such as beginner's guide, experience sharing, theme event notifications, etc.

Etsy store opening process

1. Log in to the official website etsy.com and register an etsy seller account with your own information
2. Use a credit card to activate your seller account. If you don’t have a credit card, it doesn’t matter. You can purchase a virtual credit card.
3. Register a PayPal account and add a payment account.
After completing the basic store settings, you can start selling online.

Note: Chinese IP operation is prone to problems, it is best to use a foreign IP.

Manufacturers settled in

Etsy invites manufacturers to join the platform, and manufacturers submit profiles and photos. Etsy selects manufacturers based on screening criteria. Etsy does not conduct on-site inspections of manufacturers, nor does it limit the size of manufacturers, but manufacturers need to promise to provide a safe and fair working environment, remain open to the manufacturing process, etc. If a manufacturer receives a lot of negative reviews from sellers or violates the rules, it will be punished by being removed from the manufacturer platform.
