What is Unfulfillable Inventory? Unfulfillable Inventory Review
If the inventory products sent by the seller to FBA are damaged for any reason, then this FBA inventory will be classified as Unfulfillable inventory .

Causes

1. Distributor Damaged: The goods are not suitable for sale when they are delivered.

After Amazon FBA receives the goods you sent, they will check each product. If the label of the product is damaged and the specific information cannot be scanned, it cannot be sold; if the packaging of the product is damaged, it may not be sold; and if the product inside the packaging is damaged, it cannot be sold either.

2. Damage caused by Amazon. This can be divided into two situations:

The first is "Warehouse Damage", which refers to the damage that occurs when Amazon receives FBA goods into the warehouse; the second is "Carrier Damage", when the FBA order is placed (Amazon ships the goods itself), but the appearance or packaging of the product received by the buyer is obviously damaged, and the buyer contacts Amazon and requests a return. This is damage caused by Amazon itself during transportation. In both cases, Amazon will compensate the seller.

3. Customer Damage: The buyer requests a return after receiving the product (not due to product performance issues), but the product is damaged during the return process.

4. Defective: There is something wrong with the product itself. After the FBA product is shipped, the buyer receives it and is dissatisfied with the product’s performance or usage, and then contacts Amazon to return the product.

5. If the listing encounters infringement complaints or quality complaints during the sales process, the listing is blocked and the inventory in the FBA warehouse becomes unsaleable.

How to deal with it

1. For defective products with small quantity and low value that cannot be resold, you can choose to destroy them directly

2. For products with good value and good quality,

a. It can be removed to overseas warehouses, relabeled, and delivered to other platforms

b. You can send this small amount of inventory to internet celebrities or writers for off-site promotion

3. For a large amount of unsaleable inventory

If there is no problem with the product quality, the third-party overseas warehouse can re-label the product and ship it to the Amazon warehouse for resale;

Consider other platforms for selling.
