Amazon Locker is a self-service package delivery storage facility provided by Amazon.com, the world's largest online retailer.



Operation Process


1. Users can select the nearest Amazon Locker location and add it to the address book. Once the user's package is delivered to the Amazon locker, he will receive an email notification with a unique code containing the address and opening hours of the locker location selected by the user.


2. When you want to pick up your item, enter the code or scan the barcode with a barcode scanner, and then follow the on-screen instructions.


3. All packages sent to Amazon storage must be picked up within three days. If the user fails to pick up the package within this period, the package will be returned.

In mid-2016, Amazon launched its own parcel lockers, Amazon Locker, in Germany, with the first pilot cities being Munich and Berlin.


In 2017, Amazon announced plans to roll out Amazon Lockers at select Whole Foods Market locations.


As of December 2017, lockers are available at more than 2,000 locations in more than 50 cities.
