Our previous article made it very clear that now the customs inspection of masks is very strict. If the goods do not have complete certificates and qualifications, it is difficult to pass the customs. However, this still cannot stop everyone from wanting to make a fortune in the mask market . Today I will analyze for you several conditions for safe customs clearance of mask products.

The word FDA must not appear on masks that meet civilian (non-medical) standards. If there is one, it will be seized by customs.

CE's non-medical standard is: EN149-2001+A1:2009

The non-medical standard of KN95 is: GB2626-2006

The one in the picture above is a counterexample. The standards printed on the product are two non-medical standards, but it has the word FDA printed on it. Such a mask will definitely not pass customs.

Words such as CE or KN95 can be printed on civilian products, but the corresponding non-medical standards must be printed together.

Previously, it was revealed that a freight forwarder reminded sellers that masks must be accompanied by relevant certificates for customs clearance. Many sellers stuffed such a small certificate with almost no information into the products overnight, which was obviously a temporary certificate. As a result, the customs did not recognize it at all and directly detained it and refused to pass it.

The certificate of conformity for customs clearance that meets the standards should contain the following information: product name, model specification, batch number, production date, shelf life, technical standards, material, manufacturer, etc., and be stamped with the official seal. (Certificates in other languages ​​are also acceptable)

This part has two requirements. The first is the outer box packaging. It cannot be simple bulk packaging, such as transparent or frosted bags. It must be packaging that can be directly sold. Retail packaging is a color bag or paper box that is printed with complete information and meets the specifications.

Then the inner packaging such as paper boxes and colored bags must have the indication of "non-medical use" (in all languages), and it must be clearly printed on the product retail packaging, not a sticker.

In addition, only the national standard (KN95) can be printed on the product's retail packaging , and words such as CE and FBA are not allowed to appear.

The product test report must be authentic, valid and in compliance with the corresponding production standards of the product. In addition, the test report presented during customs clearance must be stamped with the company's official seal, which must be consistent with the official seal on the certificate of conformity.

Nowadays, medical standard masks are very strict, whether it is customs clearance inspection or platform requirements. If you are not a strong seller, don’t get involved easily.
