Amazon launches limited-time coupon rebate program

In the past two days, Amazon backend just released such a message:

Amazon refunds the cost of using coupons for new products.

Amazon launched a coupon compensation program for first-time FBA products from November 21, 2024 to January 31, 2025. The specific details are as follows:

  • Fee Reimbursement: Every time a coupon is redeemed, Amazon will provide the seller with $0.6 in fee reimbursement.

  • Refund Time: The compensation amount will be paid to the seller's account before February 28, 2025.

  • Applicable sites: US and Canada.

  • Applicable products: Only FBA products listed for sale for the first time after November 2, 2024 will be automatically applicable without the need for additional registration.

Sellers who are promoting new products or planning to promote new products must not ignore this.

Eligible new products can boldly set up coupons, and the costs will be borne by Amazon!

Moreover, two weeks ago, Amazon relaxed the threshold for using coupons. The use of coupons for new products is no longer restricted by historical sales records, which completely "freed" new products.

This change provides a broader marketing space for new product promotion and products with fewer reviews, while helping sellers ease cost pressure.

Don’t underestimate the coupons tool. In the current situation where there are relatively few promotional tools, this small green and orange logo plays a huge role in increasing click-through rate and conversion rate.

Moreover, Amazon's support for new products goes far beyond this aspect.

Amazon's three major support plans for new products

A few months ago, Amazon released a "new product support package", which specifically mentioned three other support plans.

1. It is a refund of Vine program fees.

As long as your store completes brand registration this year and registers for the Vine program within 90 days,

You will be able to get a $200 discount on the Vine plan registration fee.

Amazon's vine program usually starts charging sellers when they receive their first vine review. If you meet the conditions of this exemption plan at that time, the fee will be waived directly in the background and will not be charged.

Nowadays, Amazon sellers have so few channels to request reviews. It is important to utilize review channels like Vine, which are safe, efficient, and highly weighted.

2. Sales refund .

As long as Amazon sellers complete brand registration within 6 months, they can receive a 10% rebate on the first $50,000 in sales, with the maximum rebate amount for a single site reaching $52,500.

3. Discounted delivery fees .

As long as sellers deliver inventory to an FBA warehouse within 90 days of the shipment creation date, they can receive a $100 discount on Amazon-partnered carrier fees or a $200 discount on Amazon FBA fulfillment fees.

In addition, there is a $400 discount on the U.S. site’s warehousing configuration fee and a 10% discount on multi-channel fulfillment fees for the first 100 items.

If you have any questions about the above offers and discounts, you can open a case in the background and ask Amazon customer service to send you the entire "support plan" for this year and 2025.
