Cross-site linkage? Amazon has a new wave of linked number scanning!

It is learned that the Shenzhen Bureau of Commerce recently issued the 2021 Central Foreign Economic and Trade Development Special Fund (Service Trade Matters) Funding Plan, arranging 98.38 million yuan to subsidize 165 companies that have passed the review.

From the official funding schedule, we can see that many well-known cross-border sellers such as Anker Innovations and LightInTheBox are on the list, with funding amounts ranging from tens of thousands to more than 1 million. Among them, Youkeshu and Patonson, which were severely affected by the ban, both received 1.66 million in subsidies.

Since the beginning of this year, the sweeping wave of Amazon account bans has caused unrest in the entire cross-border industry, and even the top sellers with a strong base are on the verge of collapse under the continuous impact. The cross-border e-commerce support plans launched by the Shenzhen Bureau of Commerce in recent times have not only promoted the accelerated development of the industry, but also alleviated the urgent needs of some companies that were caught up in the account ban storm to a certain extent.

However, at the same time, Amazon's crackdown is also escalating, and there are illegal mines everywhere, and one careless move may lead to the sudden death of an account. According to recent feedback from sellers, a new storm of association seems to be brewing...

There is a sudden wave of related number scanning, and the US site may be the cause!

The Black Friday online promotion is imminent, and sellers are already in the middle of intense preparations. Then, at this critical juncture, Amazon suddenly launched a new round of linked number scanning.

It is learned that many sellers reported bad news early this morning, complaining that their accounts were blocked because Amazon determined they were related.

According to feedback from sellers, many sellers were affected by the sweep because their accounts on the US site were blocked, which led to accounts on other sites being implicated.

A seller’s US account was blocked two weeks ago due to fake orders. Now his European account has suddenly been judged to be linked, and he needs to submit relevant appeal documents to reactivate it.

Coincidentally, another seller found an abnormal number of orders when he opened the backend early in the morning. After checking, he was hit hard: Amazon used a Luoyang shovel to directly hit the US site account that was blocked two years ago, causing all the currently operating European site accounts to be linked and shut down.

Not only the European site, but also the Japanese site sellers are also complaining:

"One of our Japanese sites is linked to the second American site with the same data, and another set of European sites with the same data is also linked to this American site."
"It's down for no apparent reason. The Japanese site has been down for a year. Today the US site said it was shut down because the Japanese site violated policy."

In addition, there are sellers who stated that their North American accounts have been stagnant for two years and no products have been listed during this period. Now Amazon has suddenly sent a warning email and all stores have been banned.

Judging from the feedback from sellers, the North American site seems to be the culprit of the previous related number sweeping wave. For this reason, many sellers speculate that it may be due to the introduction of new policies on the US site, which triggered a new round of reckoning.

The seller has no way to appeal because the account is associated with him for no reason!

However, the fact that the above-mentioned accounts are linked to other sites is a blessing in disguise, and there is still a possibility of a successful appeal . However, the accounts of some sellers are linked to unfamiliar accounts, making it impossible to appeal.

A seller reported that his account was inexplicably associated with an unfamiliar account that was judged to be in violation by Amazon. Amazon has now deactivated the seller's account, and the specific reason for the association is not yet known.

What is even more troubling for the seller is that Amazon stated in the email that the unfamiliar account that caused the problem must first successfully appeal for remediation before the implicated account can file an appeal.

Affected by this round of number-sweeping craze, similar situations are not uncommon.

A seller registered the North American and European sites with the same information in May, but before he started selling, he suddenly received a notification of account deactivation on the European site because it was associated with an account of a Hebei company. However, after contacting the seller, he learned that the seller had never registered an Amazon account.

At present, this round of related scanning involves many people. Some sellers have been implicated in other sites because of a history of fake orders or other violations in North America. Some sellers are innocently caught in the crossfire and are misjudged by Amazon because they are associated with unfamiliar accounts.

Under Amazon's all-round radar scanning, even historical violation records cannot escape detection, and a single move can easily affect other innocent accounts.

Here we can only suggest that when registering and using a new account, you must ensure the independence of your data, hardware, product information, etc., and at the same time strictly abide by the platform policies to avoid any illegal operations.
