Made in China is in trouble again! CPSC urgently recalls 200 large outdoor toy sets!

According to foreign media reports, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (CPSC) announced an emergency recall of outdoor toy sets named Turbo Racer, Cloud Racer, Captain's Fort and Fort Highlander on November 4. The reason for the recall is that the top wooden parts used for reinforcement and decoration are prone to entrapment risks for children, and children's heads are likely to be trapped in the gap between the roof and the gable decoration.

The recalled products reportedly involve Yardline Play Systems and Gorilla Playsets children's brands, product number 22-706, manufactured in China and sold at Costco, with a total of 5,100 units, of which about 200 have been sold. The following are product images:

It is understood that CPSC has not received any accident reports regarding this product so far.

CPSC recommends that consumers stop using the toy set immediately and contact Backyard Play Systems to obtain a free repair kit, which includes replacement wood pieces, hardware and instructions. However, if consumers cannot or do not want to repair the set themselves, Backyard will send someone to repair it for them free of charge. Unsold sets will be stopped from sale until they are repaired and qualified.
