According to a news release from BBB, it will allow customers to pick up items purchased online at its stores starting at 8 a.m., an hour earlier than BBB stores normally open. "Opening store pickup one hour earlier brings BBB one step closer to its goal of becoming a digital-first, omnichannel retailer," BBB said.

BBB also announced that it has partnered with crowdsourced delivery platform Roadie to nearly double the number of ZIP codes using its same-day delivery service. Additionally, BBB has reduced order delivery time from two hours to one hour for all curbside pickup and BOPIS ( buy online, pick up in store ) items .

It is learned that since last year, BBB has taken a number of measures to strengthen its online business and improve the efficiency of online order delivery. In April last year, BBB introduced BOPIS and curbside pickup services to all its stores in Canada, making this service available in 90% of its stores in the United States and Canada.

So far, BBB's online sales account for 38% of its total sales, of which about 31% are fulfilled by stores using services such as same-day delivery, curbside pickup or BOPIS.
