Insurance

Mail items that have not paid the insurance fee as required are not considered insured mail items.

If insured mail is lost, damaged or missing, compensation will be paid according to the actual loss value, but not more than the insured amount of the relevant mail; if uninsured mail is lost, damaged or missing, compensation will be paid according to the actual loss, but not more than twice the postage paid; if mail is delayed, compensation will be made according to the standards set by the postal department; the postal department does not bear any liability for compensation for other losses or indirect losses.

The post office will not provide compensation in the following circumstances:

1. Caused by force majeure (except for insured mail).

2. If the items being sent violate the prohibition or restriction regulations, they will be confiscated by the competent authorities or handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

3. The mail is well packaged and shows no signs of being tampered with when it is delivered, and the recipient has signed for it in accordance with the prescribed procedures. The recipient later discovers that the contents are missing or damaged.

4. Mail loss or delay is caused by the customer's responsibility or the reasons of the mail itself.

5. The customer fails to make an inquiry or claim for compensation from the date of mail delivery to the expiration of the inquiry period.

6. International mail is detained, confiscated or destroyed by the destination country in accordance with its domestic laws.
