More than 50,000 mini blenders sold exclusively at Walmart have been recalled by the CPSC!

It is learned that recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of an electric mini blender sold exclusively by Mainstays at Walmart because it poses a risk of tearing and cutting.

It is understood that the recalled product is a cordless rechargeable blender with a green lid, a white body and a transparent plastic bowl. The internal attachment consists of a white plastic shaft and three curved blades. The model number MS14100094536S1 is marked on the label at the bottom of the transparent plastic bowl. The CPSC said that the blender blades may pose a risk of cuts to consumers during the assembly process or when not enclosed in a container.

Between August 2022 and October 2023, approximately 51,750 units of the product were sold in Walmart stores and online stores at a price of $10-15. Walmart has received five reports of lacerations, all of which occurred during product assembly or product cleaning/handling.

The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled blenders and contact Walmart for a full refund. Consumers can take the product directly to the nearest Walmart store to receive a refund.
