More than 3,000 helmets recalled! "Made in China" suffers again!

It is learned that recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of Punisher bicycle helmets sold on multiple platforms such as Amazon and Walmart. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet the federal safety standards for bicycle helmet manufacturing. In the event of a collision, the helmet may not provide protection, causing the risk of head injury.

This recall involves Punisher adult cycling helmets. The helmets are sold in a variety of colors: white, black, red, blue, pink, black, green and orange. The helmets have black straps and buckles with "Punisher" printed on the sides. The white label inside the helmet has the product/batch number 2020TC015 or 2020TC025.

It is understood that the product originated in China and was imported into the United States by Bike USA Inc. It was sold on www.amazon.com, www.Fingerhut.com, www.Kmart.com, www.Sears.com, www.Overstock.com, www.Kohls.com, and www.Walmart.com from July 2020 to December 2021, with a price ranging from US$26 to US$30, and approximately 3,400 units were sold.

The CPSC recommends that consumers stop using these problematic helmets immediately and calls on purchasers to contact Bike USA Inc. as soon as possible for a full refund.

Recently, recall incidents have occurred frequently, and most of them involve "Made in China". It is not difficult to see that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has been keeping a close eye on the safety issues of Chinese products. Hereby remind all sellers that when selling such products, they must strictly control product quality, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and carefully evaluate product safety issues to avoid losses.
