Lead content exceeds the limit! Domestic "calendars" are urgently recalled!

According to foreign media reports, on March 23, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of the Bee Happy 12 Days of Craft Advent calendar. The reason for the recall is that the surface paint of the internal parts of the product contains excessive lead, posing a risk of poisoning or other safety hazards.

The recalled calendars are reportedly actually children's handicrafts. The calendar is designed as a holiday home with multiple windows and contains 12 different handicraft activities, divided into days. The handicrafts include ornaments, stickers, slime and other projects. The part with excessive lead content is the reindeer bell necklace, which is located in the "tenth day" handicraft activity. According to reports, these products are all produced in Taiwan, China, and the importer is ALDI Inc. The products were sold in ALDI stores in California and Alabama in November 2021 for about US$13.

ALDI has not yet received any reports of accidents involving the use of this product, but it recommends that buyers stop using the product immediately. The remedy for this product is that buyers need to contact ALDI to obtain a full refund.
