CPSC recalls this baby product! Available on Amazon!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, on January 19, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of 333,725 FRIGG silicone pacifiers. The reason for the recall is that there is a thin crack at the bottom of the product, which may cause the pacifier to fall off the plastic shield, posing a choking hazard.

The recalled products reportedly come in more than 40 colors and in two styles: classic and upgraded. The difference between the two products is that the base of the classic version is round, while the base of the upgraded version is flower-shaped. The similarities are that both products come in two sizes, suitable for babies aged 0-6 months and 6-18 months, respectively, and the name "FRIGG" is printed on the handle of the pacifier shield. The following is a product image:

It is understood that FRIGG silicone pacifiers were sold in stores nationwide such as SpearmintLOVE, TJ Maxx, Lil' Tulips, Olivia &, Jade Company, and on www.amazon.com and www.mushie.com from April to December 2021. The price of a single product was about US$8 and two were about US$15.

The report said that the CPSC has received eight reports of pacifiers falling off the plastic cover. In addition, the manufacturers (FRIGG Production ApS and FB Trading ApS) have received about 200 reports of pacifiers falling off from outside the United States, and no injuries have been reported so far.

CPSC recommends that buyers stop using the product immediately, contact Mushie & Co., cut the nipple open to render the product unusable, take a photo and mail it to Mushie & Co. for a full refund.
