It is learned that Walmart recently announced a partnership with Meredith Corp., a US consumer magazine publisher, to simplify customers' shopping experience by using a series of artificial intelligence technologies and Walmart products to develop exclusive meal recipes for consumers.
It is reported that the cooperation will integrate services such as visual search, voice control assistance, chatbots and AI-based meal planning. Customers can use these functions to tailor a meal recipe for themselves and add the required products to their online shopping cart based on the recipe content.
Additionally, as part of the partnership, the two companies will launch the first shoppable “book” featuring editorially curated Allrecipes 30-minute recipes, available exclusively in Walmart stores in September.
Meredith and Walmart are also launching a marketing campaign on TikTok, where TikTok users can post Allrecipes-related videos, and popular Allrecipes videos will be promoted. Consumers can click "Shop Now" in the TikTok video to add all the ingredients mentioned in the video to Walmart's online shopping cart.
