eBay to adjust SpeedPAK service prices in 2020


eBay recently announced that it will adjust the price of SpeedPAK service starting next year. Starting January 1, 2020, the new charging standards will be implemented for SpeedPAK standard or economy services shipped from mainland China to various destinations.



Amazon offers customers multiple options for receiving holiday deliveries


To help customers keep holiday gifting a secret, Amazon is offering customers a variety of options to track and receive holiday deliveries. During the holiday shopping season and throughout the year, Amazon offers customers a variety of "no-distraction" ways to track packages, pick up, or deliver to their door, such as Amazon Lockers, Amazon Counters, etc.




Shopify stores now have multilingual translation capabilities



To facilitate cross-border sales, Shopify stores have added a multilingual translation feature. Merchants can use the Shopify backend to enable multiple language modes and create separate URLs for translated content. When merchants publish a language, a unique URL will be created for each translated page in the store.




Amazon changes logistics and sales commission fees in 2020




Amazon recently announced that it will change the Amazon Logistics (FBA) and sales commission fees next year. Starting from February 18, 2020, Amazon will increase the delivery fee by about 3%, reduce some sales commissions, and launch a new product selection plan.




The number of prime members increased rapidly by more than 50% in 2020!



According to market research firm eMarketer, more than 50% of American households will use Amazon Prime subscription service by 2020. This means that Amazon will face the pressure of market saturation, and the growth rate of Prime membership is slowing down.


The data shows that Prime members have been spending and shopping more frequently on Amazon in recent years. The increase in Prime members’ searches on Amazon can provide Amazon with more opportunities to display ads.




Amazon updates pricing status


On December 19, Amazon issued an announcement today stating that it has updated the "pricing status".


Now, sellers can register a new competitive price rule in just two clicks through the pricing dashboard. The rule will match the "Featured Offer" of all offers for the same ASIN and condition, and compare prices from other retailers outside of Amazon, and continue to automatically set prices after their local prices are updated.
